Reliability
Fluorine (Halogen family)
is a very strange element this is contained
in the PTFE of the Scalebuster® .
The name fluorine is derived from the mineral
fluorspar, which, in turn, is derived from
the Latin fluo " flow" . When fluorine
is part of a molecule, it doesn't like to
be around other molecules, even including
the fluorine atoms on other molecules. But
it likes other kinds of molecules even less.
So a molecule of PTFE, being just chock
full of fluorine atoms as it is, would like
to be as far away from other molecules as
it can get. For this reason, the molecules
at the surface of a piece of PTFE will repel
the molecules of just about anything that
tries to adhere to it. This is why the PTFE
material is non-stick.
The non-stick nature of
the PTFE used in the unique patented product
Scalebuster ® for turbulence,
cavitation & dielectric effects is the
only truly non-stick component available
to prevent blocking and scaling of the devices
flow.
By replacing the traditional
turbulence components of our first Scale-buster®
Active Anode system with non-stick self
cleaning PTFE turbulence chambers, Scale-buster®
engineers have developed a system
which can assure the users that the Scale-buster®
technology, remains self cleaning,
un-blocked and continues to perform " flow
" reliably for years to come. The impressive
list of satisfied customers who have chosen
to install exclusively the Scale-buster®
technology over many years proves
this system in real applications.
